An unused hot tub can take up a large part of a patio or deck. We help Santa Rosa and Sonoma County property owners plan removal after reviewing the tub, any preparation needed, and the route to the trailer.
Show us more than the tub itself
Send photos of the hot tub from several sides, including any surrounding deck or enclosure. Tell us its approximate dimensions and whether it is drained and disconnected. Utility preparation needs to be handled before the hauling work can begin.
A tub in an open yard and one built into a deck require different approaches. If decking is also coming out, discuss deck removal separately so we can define exactly what should be left in place.
- Hot tubs reviewed for removal
- Loose covers and steps included in the plan
- Agreed dismantling and loading work
- Associated debris listed in the estimate

Trace the route from the backyard to the trailer
Gate width, steps, fences, overhead clearance, and the available loading space all affect removal. A close-up of the tub alone cannot show those constraints. We’ll discuss the method after reviewing access rather than assuming it will come out intact.
Mark landscaping, deck boards, and nearby fixtures that are staying. If the tub’s connections or supporting structure need separate work, arrange that before the agreed pickup.
- Photograph the setup
Include the enclosure, platform, and all sides we need to reach.
- Confirm preparation
Tell us whether the tub is drained and utility connections are handled.
- Show the exit path
Include gates, steps, and the proposed trailer position.

Questions about hot tub removal
Tell us about your items and access before booking. We’ll confirm the removal scope and estimate with you.
Read the Planning GuideWill the hot tub come out in one piece?
That depends on its size, construction, and access. We review the removal approach before confirming the job.
Can you remove only the tub and keep the deck?
Tell us what must stay. Photos of where the tub meets the deck help us define a removal scope.
